To help and provide for poor, disabled and destitute esp. children, women and old, the most vulnerable and neglected ones of Gwalior and Chambal region in India, one of the most deprived areas of India. We are working for last eight years providing services to these people through Gwalior Childrens and General Hospital, Dental Centre, Eye centre for prevention of blindness and saving sights, Gwalior mobile hospital with its 14 rural health centres for health awareness and education including HIV/Aids prevention. We are supporting nearly 1000 children in local schools and orphanages and have started "Snehalaya- the home with love", a care home for disabled children, homeless women and the aged with aims to make them independent. This includes a school for special needs, Multi-sensory room health and vocational training centre. At present there are 70 residents including 39 children and plans are in place to make it a facility for 200 children including a school and a hospital at site. All these facilities are available to the children from local community too for day or resident care as required.
