The primary purpose of the charityportal.org.uk website is a bringing together, within a user-friendly searchable database, details and contact information of a large number of UK charities, with a view to increasing world-wide exposure though the internet for those charities.

Although listing within the CharityPortal.org.uk database is open to all UK registered charities, it is not our intention to duplicate the Charity Commission website here. Rather, we want to create a medium where visitors can easily identify charities by either name, category, or keyword; can find further information via each charity's Detail Page; perhaps click on to charity's own websites, and even go on to make a donation etc.

CharityPortal.org.uk is intended to be a genuine public resourse. For this reason listing within the database is offered at just £25/year for charities, and £50/year for companies who provide services for charities.

CharityPortal.org.uk is paid for by advertising and registration fees
